So I made this last night from a pin on pinterest but the actual site is here. Let me just say this is OMG good.. AND EASY! I love recipes that I find that take 30 min and I can do a quick side while its cooking. Flavor is amazing and it held up well the next day! I could even see this turning into a casserole with some creativity.
So here is the recipe of you don't want to go on the Website, and more of what I did LOL. I literally made it with Rice-a-roni as a quick fix and it was good!
Art Club tends to be where I really struggle in coming up with fun lessons. I teach 6 classed during the day, 4 different types of classes and by the end of the day I AM BEAT. Not to mention at the beginning of the year we have about 36 kids that want to join and by the end we have 8-9 which impacts what we do immensely! This is one of my more successful projects with the students and costs very little.
Each student will need:
I saw this done at an AZ art ed conference and knew I wanted to try it. Typically I do 4-6 week units and this one took about 1-2 days so I knew this was the right lesson for them.
The students seemed to really enjoy it and everyone seemed to have great results from it!
If you have any lessons that you do with your art club please let me know! I think next year I am putting a limit on how many can join so I can do fun things from the get go!
